Donald Proudfoot
This weekend I got to know a bloke by the name of Donald Proudfoot. He grew up in Dundonnell, which is in the Northwest Highlands. Donald lives there with his parents and his sister. His sister, Alexa, is older and Donald gets along fine with her. Sometimes, he'll be an annoying younger brother. His goal is to become an Auror, but will settle for a Ministry job if he fails at becoming an Auror. He would like this to be his career because he is fascinated by catching dark wizards. The proudest moments in his life had been climbing a mountain for the first time and being named Prefect. His favourite past times are reading and walking; reading whenever and walking only when he is home. Donald's friends are his fellow Hufflepuff 5th years. His favourite course is Transfiguration because he's a fan of practical magic and likes McGonagall's approach. Lastly, his favourite dessert is any type of ice cream as long as it isn't chocolate.

I'm not too concerned with this coming weekend. That food fight was a lot of fun. I say again It was also fun getting to go to Hogsmeade again. My sister was glad because she wanted some sugar quills, which I got because I'm a nice big brother and she won't be able to go to Hogsmeade until next year anyway.
That Daily Prophet article was a load of bollocks, especially with the The Veridicality coming out shortly after. Injured and missing people does not equal fine.
Next Quidditch match is less than two weeks away.

I seem to have a habit of losing this in the dorm. I feel great after spending several long days in the Hospital Wing from that awful flu or whatever it was. And I seem to be very far behind in my homework because of this. I missed a lot of excitement when I was sick, the 7 year olds running around and the Slytherin/Ravenclaw match. I would have liked to have seen such a good Quidditch match. Our match against Hufflepuff is next.

I'm so tired and I can't stop coughing, which makes me even more tired. It wasn't much yesterday, but today.... This is not fun. HannahJo, can I borrow your notes from the classes I missed today? And probably tomorrow too.

Ah ha! I knew this was some where in the dorm. Too bad I couldn't have lost it sooner, now that there will be no more assignments. It's a relief not having to worry about doing them because I'm so behind on my homework as it is. HannahJo, have you finished the Charms assignment?

Who would do something like that? I'm not sure I believe the things that I told HannahJo anymore
HannahJo How are you doing?

Despite the run-in with moving suits of armor, yesterday afternoon was such fun. And I made good use of not listening in History of Magic by reading HannahJo's essay. History of Magic is usually when I take a nap.
Private I found myself wishing that HannahJo and I would get caught under mistletoe yesterday. /Private

The auction is in a little bit. I am ready to play Quidditch!
HannahJo I got caught under some mistletoe yesterday. With a Slytherin! It was before dinner, which is why I came late. It was awful.

I'm glad the weekend is here. I am so far behind on most of my homework, its not even funny. I thought about taking part in the Chess tournament thing, but I'm terrible at it. Besides, it will take me all weekend just to get caught up on all my homework. I didn't mean to let all my homework pile up, but I couldn't resist playing Exploding Snap this week, especially when we were all stuck inside. Yesterday I was outside having snowball fights with some of the other 4th years when we weren't in class. My team was victorious.

Oh Godric! Look at all the snow! If it wasn't such a big blizzard or anything, I'd be out there right now, and not caring whether any of my homework was done or not. Unfortunately, I'm situated in the Common Room with all my homework around me. Why do the Professors give us so much homework?

I have been thinking for some time about Dumbledore's assignment. I couldn't decide if I wanted to write about someone, or someplace, or something. Now, I've finally decided what I want to write about: my broom.
1. My broom was the first non-muggle item birthday present that my parents gave me three years ago. Well, they gave me the money to go buy it myself, but still, its like they bought it for me. 2. This is clearly my broom. Neither my brothers nor my sisters, save Alexandria, can use it. It is the only item that I don't have to share with them. Nor can it be handed-down to them. 3. I am myself when I'm on my broom.

Good match Ravenclaw! The game was really intense
That snitch was very hard to find. It reappeared about 40 minutes into the match after it was released. It was a race to get it. Galvin, good show man.

I had a rad time at the ball! It was a lot of fun. I was just a bunch of green, but it worked. I had fun with Misty. I am ready for some Quidditch. Gryffindor is going to beat Ravenclaw!
Hey, HannahJo, did you still need help on the DADA assignment?

The pig was pretty clever for an idea. And I think it was justified as he is a prankster. I admire, somewhat, the person who came up with the idea.

As you can see, I've neglected this thing. Besides, the cuts on my hands prove that too. First things first, I will finish this month's assignment that Dumbledore's given us.
I think that article is rubbish. Muggleborns have as much right as Purebloods do. Yes, we don't grow up with it for 11 years, but once we turn 11 and find out we're wizards, that all changes. We grow up with magic and we live in a muggle world. A background in leading people is the only requirement that should be looked at when choosing a Minister of Magic, not their heritage.
I think this is good enough for now. I've got homework due tomorrow that I haven't even started, so I should get to work on that now.
